Player profile on 2020’s captain Cameron Cullen

Let’s shine the spotlight on this seasons captain of the Intrust Super Cup squad, Cameron Cullen. This weekend Cameron will be playing in position 6 (five eight) which is proudly brought to you by Candice & Co.

We sat down with Cameron and asked him a few questions to help us get to know him a little better.

So, Cameron, tell us, where did you “kick off” your football career? I started playing in the juniors at Souths Acacia Ridge.

What is it you enjoy most about the game? It would definitely have to be the friendships that are cultivated, and the memories made. Oh, and also Winning!

What are your career highlights to date? That has to be when I played in the NRL for 10 games.

What would you say are your key strengths in the game? It’s no secret that with captaincy comes leadership and game management which are my key strengths. I would also have to say that my attack is up there too.

Outside of footy, what are your noticeable achievements? Having my own business, Image Property, a local real estate agency.

When you’re not running around the field, training and playing, what else do you enjoy doing? I love spending time with my kids and partner. I’m also an avid surfer and love surfing as well as playing golf.

You mentioned your partner and kids? What are the kids name? Yeah, I have two beautiful girls, Coast and Charli.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself? Well, despite being short in stature, I was an excellent high jumper in high school.

What are your thoughts on this season’s charity partner’s Smart Pups? I think it’s a great initiative and I’m so proud to be a part of it.

Thanks for your time Cameron, congratulations again on your captaincy and good luck this weekend!

Thanks again to Candice & Co. for your support this season.
