Andrew Reibelt strengthens partnership with Redcliffe Dolphins

The Redcliffe District Rugby League Football Club is proud to announce the renewal and expansion of its partnership with Andrew Reibelt. As a longstanding supporter of the club, Andrew has elevated his commitment, becoming a Major Partner and Exclusive Real Estate partner of the Redcliffe Dolphins.

This partnership sees Andrew take on the sleeve position across multiple teams including HPC, Brisbane Rugby League (BRL) & JNR reps, while also staying as the Major sponsor of the Redcliffe Juniors. This commitment reflect the support from Andrew and the dedication he has to the local community.

Andrew Reibelt’s passion for sport is well known throughout the Moreton Bay Region, and his desire to support the mighty Redcliffe Dolphins can be traced back to his own childhood in Roma.

“I played rugby league growing up in the country but the teams struggled financially as they still do. We would walk for hours knocking on the doors of businesses asking for sponsorship for our team jerseys and our individual jumpers ,” he recalls.

“It was then that I promised myself that if I was ever in the position to help increase involvement in sport, I would.”

Andrew’s playing days in Roma led him to the Redcliffe Dolphins, where he played senior football before making a life changing decision.

“There came a point where I knew I had a decision to make, continue playing footy or establish a career and a future in business for myself.”

From that last season playing in 1997 (ironically a Premiership winning season) before moving into a real-estate the decision to move on from playing rugby league set Andrew on a path which has led to him putting his support behind a number of groups, including the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Redcliffe Dolphins CEO Tommy Butterfield says that Andrew’s support has been unwavering.

“Even though he stopped playing for the Dolphins 30 years ago, Andrew’s relationship with the Club has continued to strengthen . He will be entering his 13th year as our Major Junior Sponsor in 2026. Prior to that he had also sponsored the Club in numerous scenarios since 1999.

Andrew is also perhaps the only person in the Club’s history to have played, coached and sponsored the Club while also having his son play juniors and work at the Leagues Club.

“Andrew has shown year in and year out he has a genuine interest in how our young players are progressing through our pathways from Juniors through to first grade”.

Andrew said a highlight of sponsoring the Redcliffe Dolphins has been “The lifelong friendships made along the way, and to see the kids we sponsor grow into adults and involve themselves back into the community.”
