Brown Ready To Go In 2019

Taylor Brown is fresh and ready to go for the Village Motors Dolphins in 2019 after a season punctuated by injury.

Brown featured only 7 times in the BRL team this year however considers himself fortunate to have managed that after surgery on a broken foot before a ball was kicked in 2018. Months of rehab work on the injury and low impact cardio programs to keep his fitness up followed and he returned to play, only to re-injure the same foot leading him again to the surgeon’s table. Brown again worked hard to get back to play and finish the season with a BRL Grand Final appearance.

“I was disappointed with the injury but I have been around long enough to know that it just happens sometimes,” Brown said.

Coach Adam Mogg said it was not that long ago that Taylor was one of the best players on the field at Suncorp Stadium in 2016 when the club played Burleigh in the Intrust Super Cup Grand Final.

“Browny was one of our best that day so we know he is a handful at ISC level which is why we are glad he is back. Hopefully a bit of luck with injury this season and he will be a valuable asset to the top squad.”

Taylor married long-time partner Naomi in the off season and with son Max an avid Dolphins fan he will have plenty of support fro the sideline in 2019.
