Capers Early Learning Joins the Redcliffe Dolphins as Official Women’s Development Pathway Partner

The Redcliffe Dolphins Rugby League Football Club is proud to announce Capers Early Learning as a new major partner and the Official Women’s Development Pathway Partner for the Harvey Norman Under 17s and Under 19s women’s teams.
This landmark partnership, which extends through to the end of the 2028 season, will see Capers Early Learning take front-of-jersey positioning for both age groups — a bold show of support for the growth of female rugby league in the Moreton Bay region and beyond.
Capers Early Learning, which operates 11 early education centres across the Northern suburbs of Brisbane, is built on the belief that every child deserves a nurturing, play-based environment to learn and grow. That same vision underpinned their support of the Dolphins’ female athletes throughout the season — providing opportunity, guidance, and inspiration beyond the classroom.
Tosh Murphy, Owner of Capers Early Learning, said the decision to become the major partner of the Dolphins’ female development pathways was deeply aligned with the organisation’s values.
“The Capers team playing a key role as the major partner in the female development pathways is incredibly important. By offering support at this level, we help provide young female athletes with the resources, opportunities, and guidance to progress in their sporting careers,” Murphy said.
“It’s a chance to promote gender equality in sports, empower future athletes, and build a legacy of strong women in the game. The partnership is not just about sponsorship; it’s about giving back to the community, fostering talent, and inspiring the next generation of leaders in sport.”
Capers’ support represents a major step forward for the Dolphins’ women’s program, which has seen significant growth in recent years thanks to a strong grassroots foundation and a focus on development-first pathways.
Redcliffe Dolphins Junior Pathways Coordinator Jason Goulding welcomed the partnership, praising Capers’ shared commitment to growth and empowerment.
“Having Capers Early Learning sponsor our Redcliffe Dolphins female rugby league program is more than just support — it’s an investment in the future of young female athletes,” said Goulding.
“Just as they nurture and guide children in their early years, their backing helps empower our players to grow, thrive, and break new ground in the sport. Together, we’re building strong foundations — on and off the field.”
Capers’ involvement marks its first official sports sponsorship, and the motivation behind this partnership is firmly grounded in community impact.
“Supporting local community sport is a way to directly engage with and uplift the community,” Murphy added.
“For us, it’s about more than just branding or marketing — it’s about making a tangible impact on the lives of individuals who may not otherwise have the resources or opportunities to pursue their athletic dreams. Sports offer countless benefits, such as fostering discipline, teamwork, and confidence, and we wanted to be a part of that positive influence.”
With the Capers logo now proudly emblazoned on the jerseys of the Dolphins’ rising stars, this partnership is more than symbolic — it’s a powerful investment in the future of women’s sport and a testament to what’s possible when education and athletics work hand in hand.
