Redcliffe Dolphins unveil 2026 ANZAC Round jersey

The Redcliffe Dolphins have officially unveiled their 2026 ANZAC Round jersey, designed as a tribute to the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand defence personnel.

This year’s design honours both remembrance and legacy while still staying true to the club’s identity and connection to the community.

Created in close partnership with RSL Queensland, Redcliffe Dolphins CEO Tommy Butterfield said it was important for the club to not only recognise the meaning and historical significance of ANZAC Day, but also to find a way to represent the region that the Dolphins play for week in, week out.

“It was important in the design process that we connected with RSL to ensure our jersey had a story which aligned this year’s ANZAC Day theme, honours our service men and women, and connects with our Redcliffe community,” Butterfield said.

“We wanted to ensure our jersey was designed around Redcliffe’s Anzac Place, which was built to commemorate those who died in service or were killed in action in World War One and World War Two. It holds much significance to the people of Redcliffe.”

To capture this goal, an image of the Anzac Place sits at the heart of the 2026 jersey, illustrating that powerful connection to our club and community in a unique way.

Also adorning the jersey are two symbolic and familiar representations of remembrance, to reflect this year’s ANZAC Day theme, “The ANZAC Spirit Lives Heres.”

These are the poppy – positioned at the base to show growth and legacy – and a sprig of rosemary, which sits near the heart as per tradition.

The Redcliffe Dolphins’ traditional red remains a key feature, combined with a white camouflage that has been used to bring in military influence while still keeping a clean and modern look.

The words “Lest We Forget” on the back of the jersey are included as a reminder of sacrifices made by those who served.

The Redcliffe Dolphins will wear their exclusive ANZAC Round jerseys and shorts in Round 7 against the North Devils on April 25 at Premiers’ Park, Brisbane.
