Redcliffe Dolphins are set to take on the One New Zealand Warriors in a Pre-Season fixture in Logan.

Redcliffe Dolphins are set to make the drive west to Logan as they prepare to take on the New Zealand Warriors in a Pre-Season trial match at Logan Metro Sports Park, on Saturday, 21st February 2026.

This match will bring talent from the NRL, Hostplus Cip and NSW Cup competitions. It forms part of the Redcliffe Dolphins preparations and showcases talent before Round 1 of the Hostplus Cup season which commences on Sunday 8th March 2026.

City of Logan Mayor Jon Raven said the game would be a great opportunity for local rugby league fans.

Logan is a rugby league town and we love having the One New Zealand Warriors as our home team,” he said.

“After thousands of fans turned up to a Warriors training session in Logan last year, I reckon we can top that at this game against the Dolphins.

“This event will be great for the fans, great for the game and great for the City of Logan.”

Redcliffe Dolphins CEO Tommy Butterfield is excited for the 2026 Hostplus Cup playing squad and the positive outcomes this trial will bring on the players.

“Having this opportunity to play against the One New Zealand Warriors in a trial match at Logan will only benefit our playing squad coming into the 2026 season”

“The standard of footy will be high which will help us prepare for round one against Burleigh”.

“This event will be great for the fans, showcasing our BRL A Grade and Hostplus Cup squad on the same day”

In addition to the trial match at 12:30pm, there will be a BRL A grade match between Redcliffe Dolphins & Logan Pride commencing at 10:30am.
