Vale Ron Raper

The Redcliffe Dolphins are saddened to hear about the passing of past player and coach Ron Raper (Redcliffe Dolphins #168).

Ron captained the first grade team in 1973 to the grand final v Valleys as well as representing Brisbane and Queensland in the same year.

Tony Obst regarded Ron as the best player he played with through his career. Ron was named in the Dolphins team of the decade during 1967-1976.

Ron also finished the Dolphins leading point scorer between 1973  and 1974.
